~ Togiak River Lodge ~

Call 1-866-846-4240 or email us to arrange your trip today.

We've guided and fished throughout Alaska and the Togiak River is by far the best salmon fishing that we've Togiak Kingsfound. Togiak River is located in South-West Alaska and flows directly into Bristol Bay. All 5 species of Pacific Salmon return to the Togiak in staggering numbers. Huge Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden also call this river home.

Togiak River Lodge is the only permanent lodge on the lower river. The lodge is located just a couple miles up river from the delta. Clients catch dime bright salmon with long tail sea lice every day. Each morning typically starts off with a double, Triple Hook UPtriple and even sometimes a quadruple hook up! This unbelievable CATCHING leaves every angler in awe with sore arms!

A network of lakes acts as a buffer and filter for the Togiak, resulting in perfect fishing conditions year in and year out. The stable conditions contribute to the healthy runs that this river enjoys.

Late June through July presents the best fishing for Kings. Most anglers pursuing Kings typically back bounce roe, back troll plugs and down troll spinners. In late July the river is low enough to be conducive for fly fishing. Kings on the Togiak average 30 pounds with multiple fish being caught over 40 pounds each season.

By mid August thousands of fresh Silvers move in on every incoming tide. The Silvers that return to the Togiak are HUGE!!! The average Togiak SilverSilver is 12 to 14 pounds with 15+ pound fish being caught every day. As with all Silvers these fish have bad attitudes and hit just about anything that is put in front of them. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to get tired of catching fish you need to book your trip to the Togiak!

Upon your arrival at the lodge you'll be impressed by the quality of boats, rods, reels, tackle, well-maintained boat dock, fish processing building, smoke house, lodge and private Togiak Rainbowcabins. Each group of clients has their own private cabin with a plumbed bathroom. The lodge has a great dining room and comfortable lounging area with a large screen TV. Satellite TV and wireless internet make this remote lodge convenient for those who need to keep in touch with the real world.

Neither words nor pictures can accurately portray how awesome this fishery is.
